Powers And Abilities by the hands of our will Due to the strange, mystical force that surrounds the Three Pillars, and as such all of Suiko, the residents of even human lineage have acquired new mystic based powers. Why these anomalies have occurred, none know, nor as to why which powers effect which being. The only known knowledge is that fact that departing away from the Three Pillars for a certain period will diminish, and eventually exterminate these powers, until they can be properly recharged by returning to Suiko.
Each being can only have a certain amount of powers, whether they be Human, Kami, or otherwise. No being is overly powerful in Suiko, and most powers tend to balance themselves out. Please think carefully before choosing your powers, or you may be asked to revise!

Human Powers ~~~ Unlike Kami, Human Powers only occur when said human is in Suiko for a certain amount of time; they are not naturally hereditary. However, there is a theory that what powers arise may just be based on DNA; though, no evidence has ever been set forth to prove this, due to the ethereal nature of the powers.
Animalia: A very popular ability, due to it's amusing effects, possessors of Animalia are skilled with control over the beasts of the world. Of course, due to Suiko laws, even the users are confined to more domestic pets; this doesn't stop everybody, though. Animalia is also very controversial, due to the inhumane actions some users force upon their loyal servants.
Aquakinesis: A water based power, Aquakinesisis the ability to manipulate water into fantastical shapes, as well as control it's force and flow. This is a strong elemental power, seeing as how present water is in every day life; however, advanced skill in Aquakinesis is needed to control larger quantities of water. A large hindrance to Aquakinesis is the lack of an ability to create water for usage; one must either pull moisture in small quantities from the air, or use already existent water.
Cloak: The user alters the pigmentation of any object of their choice, including themselves or other beings, allowing said person to "melt" into the surrounding room; i.e, blend in. This causes the object to become completely invisible to those around them, from anywhere of 5 minutes to 30 minutes. Because the ability relies on matching pigmentation and optical illusion, the object can still be felt, smelled and heard, and the object cannot move at all, lest they lose their disguise.
Cyclokinesis: An air based power, Cyclokinesis is the ability to create, manipulate, and control the force and flow of air currents. The control is generally small scale, and does not cover an immense amount of area; however, it is powerful, as it allows the users to move objects, as well as make themselves fly. It is often favored in theatrics and recreational use.
Electrokinesis: An electricity based power, Electrokinesis is the ability to manipulate electrical currents. By accessing natural electricity found in most items, not to mention the man made electricity found throughout the large city, Electrokinesis is the most readily available form of elemental control. However, it is very erratic and volatile in nature, and as such must be used cautiously.
Empathy: A very mild power, granting the user the ability to feel the emotions of a select target they desire. While this power may appear useless at first glance, it is actually very capable, allowing the user to see through lies or improve their social standing with others.
Howl: The user lets out a harsh, ear piercing screech, capable of reverberating to very long distances. The vibrations can destroy fragile objects, such as glass made items, and severely harm or impede the eardrums of said listeners. However, the user is not safe from their own howl, making it very wary to ever be used. Over usage and lead to hoarse voices and lack of hearing in the user.
Premonition: The user has the ability to see into the future, for very short glimpses of time ranging anywhere from five seconds to one minute. Generally, the images seen are out of context, hazy, or hard to decipher. The ability happens at random as well; there is no way for the user to actively trigger his or her premonition abilities.
Pulse: The user is capable of coursing mystical energy through their body, temporarily increasing their muscle power and physical strength. However, the wear of said power eventually wears upon the users body, severely disabling them later in life with pains such as arthritis, broken bones, or even wheelchair confinement.
Pyrokinesis: A flame based power, Pyrokinesis is the ability to create flames, ignite an object into combustion, but control over said flames is minimal. It is a dangerous, powerful ability, especially to those who use it; this is because, unlike the other elements, Pyrokinesis is unstable in the sense that fire is both destructive and erratic, making it hard to control. Because of this, Pyro users are rarer than the other elements, because most choose to suppress their powers or are no longer around to tell the tale.
Regokinesis: An earth based power, Regokinesis, is the ability to manipulate loose soil and mineral fragments into a similar manner as water. It is a powerful ability in earthly, natural areas, so the users prefer to live in the outer Suiko limits. A limitation to this power is that large stone is far too dense to manipulate, making smaller stones and loose soil only available.
Rush: A speed inducing power, the user is capable of reaching inhuman speeds, generally anywhere from 60 mph to 85 mph, for a short amount of time, generally 5 seconds to a minute depending on the user. Because of the high bursts of speed and short term usage, it is often compared to that of a cheetah's. After effects each usage are generally physical illness such as nausea, or heavy wear upon bone structure.
Teleportation: A very useful, and very popular skill throughout all of Suiko, the user has the ability to transfer their physical body from one area to another. However, because of the fact the skill is built around the power of the Three Pillars, the user cannot teleport outside of Suiko lines; still, this gives them the large amount of area around Suiko to teleport to their hearts content. Side effects of over teleportation include nausea, headaches, muscle cramping, and momentary blindness.
White Tears: A very unique ability, the user's tears have the ability to generate healing effects on flesh wounds and broken bones when said tears are lain upon the area; however, the ability to heal internal ailments, such as disease and illness, are reserved for White Blood. Because of these healing properties, many possesser's choose to keep this ability secret, to avoid exploitation.
White Blood: An incredibly rare ability, where only a said few are known to have it, White Blood is said that when the users blood is consumed orally, the consumer's body will be purified of any and all diseases, sicknesses, and internal ailments. Of note, the blood itself is not white, but becomes white when mixed with normal blood, thus garnering it's name; also, White Blood is unable to purify heavy hitting diseases, such as Cancer, AIDS, and the common illness found among Seppan (although research exists to use White Blood in these cures). Because of the rarity and value of White Blood, users are generally poached, killed and drained for their abilities, and as such keep it the greatest of secrets.

Kami Powers ~~~ Kami, being elementally based creatures, are capable of hereditary use of their own selective powers; however, it always comes with a catch. Each Kami is only capable of accessing powers equivalent to their own element, which is denoted at the beginning of each power. Powers can be mixed and matched, but only if it is of their said element, or a neutral element power.
Shapeshift: (Neutral) A must have ability for all Kami, Shapeshift allows Kami to transform into different beings and forms; most generally, humans. Kami must use their Shapeshift Ability, due to the fact that allowing a mortal to view your original form is a cardinal sin, generally punishable by death itself. ALL KAMI MUST HAVE SHAPESHIFT

Because of the wild nature of human emotions, Reverse Empathy has not made it into the human roster of powers, nor is it passed down to Seppan children.
